About Us

Dr. Dejan Stankovic, BCB
With a deep-rooted passion for performance psychology and biofeedback, I specialize in helping individuals and teams optimize performance, resilience, and well-being in high-pressure environments. My expertise lies in equipping people with evidence-based mental strategies to enhance focus, manage stress, improve decision-making, and unlock their full potential, whether on the playing field or in the boardroom. I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence, adaptability, and personal development across organizations.
I served as the Director of Mental Performance and Wellness at Sportime/John McEnroe Tennis Academy, where I led the strategic integration of performance psychology across four locations. This work impacted more than 100 staff and over 1,000 high-performing individuals. I designed and implemented a comprehensive Performance and Wellness Program (JMTA You), focusing on psychological skills training, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and cognitive performance. While developed in an athletic context, the principles of this program apply seamlessly to leadership development, team dynamics, and sustainable peak performance in corporate and organizational environments.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Mental Performance and Wellness at Endicott College, where I oversee a state-of-the-art Mental Performance Lab supporting all 27 varsity athletic programs. In this role, I lead campus-wide initiatives to integrate mental skills training, biofeedback, and mindfulness into the student-athlete experience. I collaborate closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and administrators to ensure a unified approach to mental wellness and performance enhancement. This work helps student-athletes build vital life and leadership skills that carry over well beyond their collegiate careers.
I also offer personalized one-on-one performance coaching and biofeedback training to more than 200 individuals, including elite athletes, corporate leaders, and high-performing students. My coaching approach combines cutting-edge science with practical tools to develop emotional intelligence, resilience, mental clarity, and goal-directed behavior. These skills are highly transferable to business, education, healthcare, and other performance-driven fields.
My work extends to team development, where I design and facilitate workshops on team cohesion, communication, and culture-building. These sessions help organizations improve collaboration, foster trust, and strengthen morale, all of which are essential for long-term success. I also conduct ongoing research in applied performance psychology, focusing on topics such as mindfulness, imagery, breathing techniques, and goal setting, and I regularly incorporate this research into my work with clients and teams.
As a mindfulness educator, I have had the privilege of creating and delivering courses for institutions such as Boston University, working with both graduate-level sport psychology students and athletic teams. These programs are designed to cultivate mental wellness practices that promote sustained performance and personal fulfillment.
In addition to my work in performance psychology, I am involved in college tennis as the Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams at Endicott College. I previously served as the Head Men’s Tennis Coach at Boston University (Division I) for over a decade. At BU, I led the program to its first-ever NCAA appearance and Patriot League Championship. I also had the privilege of coaching a player who reached the NCAA top 10 rankings, demonstrating the program’s impact at the highest levels of collegiate tennis. I played a key role in establishing the Athletic Department’s first coaching endowment and was deeply involved in fundraising, alumni engagement, and strategic planning. These experiences continue to influence my comprehensive approach to leadership, performance, and organizational development.
